1. Am I required to reach any quotas or hit a specific number of retreats each month?
There are no monthly quotas. This is your business you can schedule Retreats based on your lifestyle. There is a six month participate guide in place. To keep your account status activated you will need to submit at least one order over a six month period.
2. Who does this program target? Why not men?
The Retreat is designed for women and teen girls. Women respond and learn differently when males are not present. Yes, men can choose to get involved but this program targets the self-worth issues that have been researched for women. We do not exclude males if they ask to be involved. We very much understand that there is a need for males to receive support as well, yet choose to focus our program on women’s needs. For example: We share school assemblies that benefit both teen boys and teen girls.
3. I have no educational background, can I still become a Self-Worth Director?
Yes, you have talents that can help others. We have training guides and educational programs to help you understand your mentoring role.
As part of our code of ethics we discuss the relationship that we are not professionals and should never act outside our scope of practice. Education will always benefit you but having a degree is not a requirement.
4. How do I earn income?
Think of Self-Worth Directors as someone who owns their own outreach business. This is a position which includes both education and sales. You get access to Cauliflower Retreat’s program structures for outreach and get exclusive wholesale discount prices for product. You can choose how to share products, programs and workbooks with your participants. Income is generated from the product line, workbooks which follow Retreat programs, and outreach fees.
Participants will pay you directly for products and services. The earning potential is endless and based on what you want to focus on. Being a Self-Worth Director takes the same self-discipline you would need running a business. We are not a multi-level marketing company which means you do not have people above or below you that impact your earnings. There are however leadership bonuses and other potential for growth that can come from the Cauliflower Retreat offices. This position will take effort, just as any job does, but the rewards and experiences you can have are life changing.
5. What makes this different from other direct sales companies?
We are a direct outreach program. Outreach is a word that describes education, support, and community services. The Cauliflower Retreat objective is to first build self-worth. There are many rewards that come from serving the community. Instead of seeking out individuals and doing in-home parties focused solely on product and sales, we share powerful self-worth education and focus on bringing positive messages to the lives of women.
Incentives to Self-Worth Directors are based on more than just sales (think attendance, goals collected, and Retreats taught). Outreach comes before sales. Sales often become a natural outcome of the outreach. As you reach out to others you will find this is a rewarding career that lifts your own spirits. If you are focused only on making money this may not be the best career choice for you. If you enjoy helping others, building relationships, or being in a mentoring position, this can be a very rewarding career.
In addition, we focus on bringing on board quality Self-Worth Directors and not quantity. You will not need to worry about any recruiting or multi-level marketing tactics. Ethics and integrity are an important aspect of our work.
6. Does it cost me anything to get started?
We ask each Self-Worth Director to purchase a support kit which covers the license to use our copyright protected material. This will include the materials you need to run your own business and is an investment you can get an immediate return on. Check out the starting kit list for details, they start at $125. You are preparing to run your own business, only you can run it from your own home instead of having a lease or paying rent for an additional facility. In addition, instead of doing hours of product research and development you can do it with The Retreat’s straightforward start-up supplies.
7. How do I start scheduling Retreats?
You will have the most success doing in-home Retreats. Once you get started, share the news with your family, neighbors and friends that you own your own Self-Worth Outreach business. Start conversations with people around you about the Retreat topics. The message is so positive and vitally needed that if you start talking about it with enthusiasm you will find your calendar fill up with events. You can work with the hostess to decide if a Open House or Presentation style retreat is better for that specific network. The training manual gives you suggestions and guides if you would like to first start with community work.
8. Is it better to keep an inventory or deliver products after the Retreat?
To get started it is probably going to be easier to deliver goods after the Retreat. You will login online and submit orders. You can choose to stock up and focus on a favorite product or keep your own supply on hand. Use the return policy for details and as a guide on when to order products.
It will be helpful for you to keep a good supply of workbooks prior to hosting a Retreat. Workbooks are fully refundable to you as long as they are in the original packaging.
9. Do I have to do volunteer work or can I focus on sales?
Since this is your business you choose the hours, and what element of work you will focus on. You will have opportunities to do volunteer and community Retreats. Volunteer work is not required, yet there are incentives that are offered from time to time based on your charity work and time spent reaching out to your community.
10. What happens if I want to stop being a Self-Worth Director?
Talk with your Regional Team Leader first. See if there is a solution you can resolve. (exp: options for maternity leave) If you still don’t feel like it fits in with your lifestyle you can simply submit a leave of position. This will take you off the lists that extend you the exclusive privileges our Directors get.
